Your Treatment Center for Cell Changes (Dysplasia) on the Cervix, Vagina and Vulva

In Switzerland, it is routinely recommended to carry out a preventive examination of the cervix every three years, the so-called PAP smear. It is used for the early detection of cervical cancer. We can detect precursors before cancer develops.

If the smear shows cell changes (dysplasia), we can clarify these. We will explain the findings to you and arrange further examinations if necessary.

There are also abnormalities on the vulva and vagina that can be precursors to cancer. We also examine, treat and control these.

Cell Changesn (Dysplasia)

Thanks to regular check-ups, significantly fewer women in Northern Europe and Switzerland are now developing cervical cancer than before.

Nevertheless, cancer smears from the cervix often show abnormal findings that cause unnecessary fears for the women affected.

What is important: The cancer smear not only looks for cancer, but also for precursors. These are expressed in cell changes (dysplasia) that can occur in various places: the cervix, the cervix, the vagina and the entrance to the vagina, the outer and inner labia, the pubic mound and the perineum (vulva).

Our specialists examine these changes in more detail and clarify them further depending on the severity. If treatment is necessary, we will discuss it in detail and advise you. Your treating doctor will usually carry out the procedure during consultation hours.
