Endocrine Tumors / ENETS Center of Excellence

Endocrine tumors are growths in the hormone-producing organs, for example the pituitary gland, thyroid, pancreas or adrenal gland. The small intestine also has a large number of hormonally active cells.

Neuroendocrine tumors and adrenal tumors

Neuroendocrine tumors most often develop in the small intestine, pancreas, or lungs. Pheochromocytomas, paragangliomas and the rare adrenal carcinomas are also neuroendocrine tumors. We offer an interdisciplinary consultation for neuroendocrine tumors for the often complex diagnosis and therapy Interdisciplinary Consultation for Neuroendocrine Tumors. Patients with neuroendocrine tumors are presented and discussed weekly at the Endocrine Tumor Board / ENETS Center for Excellence.

Thyroid Carcinomas

We focus on the care of patients with thyroid cancer. We also offer an Interdisciplinary Thyroid Consultation which is carried out with specialists in endocrinology, ENT, nuclear medicine, pathology and visceral surgery within the same outpatient clinic. This means we can offer a competent, comprehensive and timely clarification. Patients with thyroid carcinoma are presented and discussed weekly at the Endocrine Tumor Board / ENETS Center for Excellence.

 

Pituitary Tumor

We offer the entire spectrum of specialized endocrinological examinations and interdisciplinary therapies for patients with pituitary tumors. Patients with pituitary tumors are discussed weekly at the Pituitary Tumor Board
